Direct Drive Technology

Headtec GmbH offers direct driven milling heads single or dual axis design. No gear box is required due to the use of build in or so called torque motors. The advantage of torque motors lies in the fast acceleration and the highly dynamic characteristics and therfore has excellent contouring capabilities during two or three axis interpolation. Every axis can be adapted with a brake. The high frequency spindle can be selected as per requirement. The milling heads also can be optionally designed either for automatic spindle change or with an interface for automatic head change.
